It wasn’t perfect.
It was messy, at best, but it was different.
This is the pause – the breath before blowing out birthday candles, hesitation before the light turns green. Brake lights, Monday coffee, a blink to let the contacts settle.
We were never made to live a life that is hindered.
We were made for freedom, for grace, for the high-five of a stranger on the train, miracles, adventure, and shoelaces that are tied.
The world wants to say that we can’t do it.
But heaven said wait for the third day.
